Connection
This cartoon is illustrating the discrimination and segregation of peanuts. The building in the cartoon does not allow peanuts. Two peanuts see the building and are offended that they aren’t allowed in just because they are peanuts. A similar situation occurred in Frankensteinwhen the monster tried to meet the humans he had been living next to. The monster said, “he dashed me to the ground and struck me violently with a stick”(123). The monster was not welcome in to the human’s hut and therefore felt segregated. The cartoon and Frankensteinrelate because they both are examples of segregation and not allowing someone in because they are different.
