|
Connection"Little Boys at Play- A Story of Segregation in the South" is a short story writen by Malcolm Tatum. The story is of two little boys, gowing up in the sixties. One by is white, while the other is African American. The boys' parents do not want them playing together. They do not understand why. The novel Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley resembles the two boys. The monster in the novel was confused as well. He was pushed away, no one could stand the sight of him. He did not understand just as the little boys did not understand. The monster cried, "I am alone and miserabel: man will not associate with me" (129).
